Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-02-14
Data collected
We collect identifiers you submit on forms (name, email, company, phone where offered), technical logs from our website (IP address, browser type, timestamps), and attendance data for programmes you join.
Payment references may appear on invoices processed by partners; we avoid storing full card data on our own servers when a processor tokenises details.
If you join mailing lists, we store subscription preferences and message engagement metrics at an aggregated level.
Your rights
Under the Personal Information Protection Act and related Korean rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, or processing restriction where grounds exist. We respond within statutory timelines after verifying identity proportionately.
You may withdraw marketing consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Some records must be retained for accounting or dispute resolution.
If you believe we mishandled data, you may lodge a complaint with the Korea Personal Information Protection Commission or another competent supervisory body.
Third parties
We share data with infrastructure vendors that host labs, email delivery services, and analytics processors bound by written agreements. Vendors may operate outside Korea; we assess transfers using appropriate safeguards.
Sponsors at public events receive aggregate attendance statistics, not personal directories, unless you explicitly opt in to networking exchanges.
We do not sell personal information as a standalone product.
Retention
Contact records for prospective learners are kept up to twenty-four months without further engagement, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is required for active sales cycles you initiated.
Program records, including attendance and instructor feedback, are retained for seven years to support quality standards reviews and to evidence delivery where disputes arise.
Server logs rotate on a shorter technical schedule while preserving security-relevant extracts when incidents are investigated.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to websites and services operated under the cloudhubarchive.one domain by Basis Beacon Korea. Linked third-party tools opened during class may have their own notices.
Children's services are not directed at minors; if we learn we collected a child's data without appropriate authority, we delete it promptly after verification.
Updates to this Policy are posted with a revised date; material changes affecting consent-based processing will be highlighted through email or on-site banners where practical.
Cookie Notice
Last updated: 2026-04-02
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They help remember preferences, keep sessions secure, and understand aggregate traffic patterns when you opt in to analytics.
Local storage entries may be used for similar purposes, such as remembering theme choices with keys prefixed by our domain identifier.
You can remove cookies through browser settings; some site features may degrade if essential cookies are blocked.
Preferences
Where we offer a preference centre, you can toggle analytics and marketing categories independently from essential cookies required for security and load balancing.
Theme selections are treated as functional preferences and do not feed advertising profiles.
If you reject optional categories, scripts that set those cookies will not run on subsequent visits once your choice is stored locally.
Consent
For non-essential cookies, we rely on consent obtained through the on-site banner or equivalent control. Consent records include a timestamp and coarse region derived from IP for auditability.
You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing storage keys or using the preference link; withdrawal does not undo lawfully processed historical aggregates that cannot be separated.
Essential cookies that keep forms forgery-protected or maintain authenticated instructor portals do not require marketing-style consent but are documented here for transparency.
Third-party cookies
Embedded maps or video players from partners may set their own cookies when you interact with them. We minimise embeds and load them only after interaction where feasible.
Analytics vendors we engage process data under instructions and configuration that avoid collecting free-text fields you type into forms.
If we add a new subprocessor category, we update this Notice and, where required, re-seek consent before activation.
Refund and Cancellation
Last updated: 2026-01-30
Eligibility
Paid programmes listed with tuition amounts may be refunded within fourteen days of purchase provided you have not accessed more than twenty percent of digital materials or attended an instructor-led session, whichever threshold applies first under the programme rules communicated at checkout.
Corporate invoices follow the contract schedule negotiated with your sponsor; consumer-style cooling-off may not apply to bespoke statements of work.
Donation-style forum passes labelled as included with another bundle inherit the parent programme's eligibility window.
Scope
This policy covers tuition and published programme fees. Travel, accommodation, and third-party exam fees booked separately are outside our refund scope unless a bundle explicitly states otherwise.
Administrative fees for wire transfers or currency conversion charged by banks are not reversible by us.
Vouchers or credits issued instead of cash refunds expire on the date stated on the voucher unless law requires extension.
Processing timeframe
Approved refunds return to the original payment method within fourteen business days after approval, subject to processor timelines outside our control.
Partial refunds for partially consumed bundles are calculated using the same twenty percent material rule pro-rated where applicable.
If your card expired, we may request updated payout details through a secure process verified out-of-band.
Exceptions
No refund is available after certification exam vouchers are redeemed, after customised lab images containing your employer data are provisioned, or when misconduct caused removal under the General Terms.
Force majeure cancellations may be rescheduled rather than refunded; if rescheduling is impossible, we offer credit before cash return.
Promotional seats clearly marked as non-refundable at purchase are excluded from standard cooling-off unless mandatory law says otherwise.
