General Terms

Intellectual property
Training materials, lab guides, and branded templates published by Basis Beacon Korea remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use copies for internal learning while enrolled or while your enterprise agreement remains active.
You may not resell course packs, redistribute recordings where prohibited, or remove attribution notices. Employer-sponsored learners must route sharing requests through their sponsor contact so usage stays auditable.
Open-source snippets referenced in class keep their upstream licences. We do not transfer ownership of third-party tools shown during demonstrations.
User obligations
You agree to provide accurate registration details, respect lab etiquette, and follow acceptable-use rules on shared systems. Attempting to access other learners' work areas, introducing malware, or probing hosted environments beyond exercise scope may result in immediate removal without refund where permitted by policy.
You must comply with employer policies regarding training attendance, confidentiality, and device security. We are not responsible for conflicts between your obligations to us and to your employer.
If you attend in-person events, you follow venue safety instructions and photography rules published for each forum.
Service description
Basis Beacon Korea delivers instructor-led SAP Basis education, workshops, and related editorial content. Sessions may be scheduled in person in the Republic of Korea or delivered online with published technical prerequisites.
We describe agendas carefully but may substitute equivalent exercises when infrastructure partners require maintenance. Material updates that improve clarity do not constitute breach when learning objectives remain aligned.
Community forums and mailing lists are optional channels governed by separate conduct expectations communicated at signup.
Governing law and venue
These General Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction. Courts located in Seoul have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to non-waivable consumer protections applicable to you.
If a competent authority voids a clause, the remainder stays effective to the maximum extent permitted.
Cross-border learners remain responsible for complying with export and sanctions rules applicable to their location when accessing software or documentation we reference.
Liability limits
To the extent permitted by Korean law, our aggregate liability arising from services in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the specific program giving rise to the claim. We exclude indirect losses such as lost profits, goodwill, or operational downtime except where statute forbids such exclusion.
We do not warrant that certification exams will be passed or that employer promotions will occur. Training outcomes depend on individual effort and organisational context.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other categories that cannot legally be capped.
